RESCUING ORPHANS
We are on mission to rescue orphans from one of the greatest orphan crises in Guatemala. Many of these children have experienced physical abuse, emotional trauma, sexual abuse, abandonment, and extreme poverty. Through safe housing, loving care, and the hope of Jesus Christ, we are committed to giving every child a chance to heal, thrive, and build a brighter future.
WHATS ACTUALLY HAPPENING
This short film gives a glimpse into the reality of what is happening in Guatemala and the work being done every day to rescue, care for, and restore vulnerable children. Behind every child is a story, and behind every story is an opportunity for hope, healing, and a brighter future.
SOME OF THE CHILDREN WE HAVE RESCUED
Jose suffered horrific abuse as a child. His stepmother would bite him as punishment, beat him with metal objects, and leave lasting physical and emotional scars. His story is a heartbreaking reminder of why vulnerable children need rescue, protection, and hope.
Jose is now in our care.
Tony and his brother were completely abandoned and left alone in a park for weeks, surviving with little to no food. With no one to care for them, they were eventually found and brought into our care, where they finally experienced safety, love, and hope.
They are now in our care.
These little girls endured unimaginable physical abuse at the hands of the very people who should protect them. Many arrive at our orphanage carrying not only visible scars but also deep emotional wounds that take years to heal. Through safety, love, and the hope found in Christ, we are committed to helping each child rebuild the life they deserve.
Cata and her brother were found abandoned in a park with no one to care for them. Alone, vulnerable, and forgotten, they were eventually brought into our care, where they found safety, love, and the opportunity for a brighter future.
They are now in our care.
IMPACTING A VILLAGE
CARING FOR THE WIDOWS
We are committed to caring for widows in the communities we serve by identifying those who are most vulnerable and ensuring they are not forgotten. Through practical support, home visits, food assistance, prayer, and ongoing relationships, we strive to be the hands and feet of Jesus, bringing hope, dignity, and care to those who often have no one else to help them.
REACHING YOUTH / YOUNG ADULTS
With suicide rates among teenagers and young adults continuing to rise, we are committed to bringing hope where it is needed most. Through our relationships with schools throughout the region, we have the opportunity to speak into the lives of students, encourage them, remind them of their value, and share a message of hope, purpose, and resilience.
REMOTE Villages
Surrounding the main village where we serve, we have helped build seven churches throughout the mountains. These churches serve not only as places of worship, but also as feeding centers and schools for their communities. We actively support, disciple, and care for each of these churches, helping equip leaders and bring both practical assistance and the hope of Jesus Christ to some of the most remote areas of Guatemala.
What's Next: Building a Village of Hope
While we are incredibly grateful for what God has allowed us to accomplish so far, we believe this is only the beginning.
Our long-term vision is to purchase a permanent piece of land in Guatemala and build a self-sustaining village designed to care for some of the most vulnerable people in our community. Our goal is to raise approximately $500,000 to secure the land and begin developing this vision.
At the heart of this village will be a network of tiny homes, each estimated to cost approximately $30,000 to build. These homes will provide safe, loving environments where orphaned children can grow, heal, and thrive.
What makes this vision unique is that we don't simply want to care for children—we want to create family. Each home will bring together orphaned children, widows, and elderly individuals who often have nowhere else to turn. The elderly and widows will serve as mentors, caregivers, and spiritual influences in the lives of the children, creating a community built on love, purpose, and belonging.
This village will be more than housing. It will be a place where generations come together, where children find family, where widows find purpose, where the elderly are honored, and where the hope of Jesus Christ is lived out every day.
Our vision is simple: to build an entire village where the forgotten are no longer forgotten.
